On January 1, 2023, the former Town of Hampton, the former local service district of Hampton, and portions of the local service districts of Norton, Upham, and Kingston were joined to become the newly restructured municipality of Hampton.
The new Hampton brings new opportunities and a renewed vision for the future. Our rich history of community stewardship, connection, and pride of place defines this new community that continues to take pride in where it has come from while embracing new opportunities to form a shared future.
Town Hall staff includes the CAO, Clerk’s Office, Finance, Communications, and Administrative teams.

Municipal Elections 2026
On March 24th, Elections NB, the town of Hampton and the Fundy Region Service Commission hosted an information session for Candidates for the upcoming election on May 11th, 2026. Interested candidates who may have missed the session can review the presentation with the link below.
