All residents within the new Hampton limits with a Recreational / Backyard Fire Pit, or who wish to Burn Brush, are required to be in possession of a valid burning permit. Permits are required year-round, and all burning permits are FREE of charge.
Hampton provides two types of burning permits. Be sure to apply for the correct one for your needs.
BURNING PERMITS - WARD 1
BURNING PERMITS - WARD 2 & WARD 3
Remember that during fire season (April-October), even with a valid permit, you must confirm that burning is allowed in Kings County on the date you wish to burn.
