Burn Permits

All residents within the new Hampton limits with a Recreational / Backyard Fire Pit, or who wish to Burn Brush, are required to be in possession of a valid burning permit. Permits are required year-round, and all burning permits are FREE of charge.

Hampton provides two types of burning permits. Be sure to apply for the correct one for your needs.

· Propane fire pits, fire tables or BBQs do NOT require a permit or inspection and can be used anytime, even when there is a fire ban in place.
